Although a little bit under the radar in Thailand, the organic Mahachanok mango is gaining popularity abroad rapidly. With a bigger body and the characteristic red color cheek, the Mahachanok mango from Thailand features a slightly less sweet but more fruity taste. Thanks to its higher resilience against pests and insects, it makes it easier for us to grow organic Mahachanok. It usually ripens a little bit later than Nam Dok Mai mangoes and introduces itself with its strong smell which will give you an initial hint of its refreshing fruitiness. Since many growers use chemicals to bring out the red color stronger, our organic Mahachanok might have a bit of less red color, but by growing them 100% without any chemical fertilizer or pesticides, our rich organic compost fertilizers create a stronger aroma than most checmially grown ones.
